THE CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS LAWS
The Center for the Study of Civil and Human Rights Located at the historic Selden Ward Mansion on Grove Place, the Center For the Study of Civil and Human Rights Laws officially opened in 2005 with this area’s most extensive and diverse collection of media materials, historic documents, and artifacts relating to the civil and human rights struggles of mankind and the regulations, laws and court decisions which had an effect on those struggles.
Our Mission Statement

The Center For the Study of Civil and Human Rights Laws, exists to promote diversity, tolerance, and community by providing exceptional exhibitions and programs based on outstanding collections and research which explore civil and human rights violations as well as the laws, customs, and cases which can sometimes prevent those violations from occurring in the first instance.
